Cushion Cut Diamond Size Chart
By Devin Jones
Diamond shoppers often think of carat weight as a measurement of diamond size, or how big the diamond will look in an engagement ring setting. In reality, carat is a measurement of weight, not width or length. Two diamonds that weight the same amount can look very different when viewed from above, just like two people who weigh the same might look different depending on their height or waist size.
Cushion Cut Diamond Carat Size Chart
Cushion cut diamonds are either square or rectangular shaped diamonds and feature rounded corners. These rounded corners make the diamond resemble a pillow or cushion, hence the name "cushion cut".
To calculate the average size of cushion cut diamonds we simply multiply the diamond's length and width (both measured in millimeters) to create surface area. We also calculated the average length of cushion cut diamonds and list that below in millimeters.
